Ted Brownstein, Race Unity in the Torah, Feb. 2

Sunday, Feb. 2, 2025, 1 p.m. Eastern

Race unity is one of the spiritual verities deeply embedded in all Abrahamic Faiths. This presentation explores select passages in Jewish tradition that have a bearing on the inherent equality of all the families of the ground. Included are selections from Torah, Talmud, Midrash, and the Bahá’í Writings that advocate equity, as well as an exploration of “Old Testament” verses that have been misused by White Nationalists to promote racism. For a non-Jewish audience, the presentation will include a brief explanation of terms and overview of Jewish literature: Torah, Tanakh, Talmud, Midrash, etc.
