The Corinne True Center for Baha’i History has begun to plan its 2026 season and requests proposals for individual presentations and panels (a collection of 2 to 4 related presentations) on the topics of Baha’i history, translation of Baha’i authoritative texts, interpretation and commentary on authoritative texts, Baha’i theological and philosophical topics, and the relationship between the Baha’i Faith and other religions and their scriptures. The presentations and panels will be delivered either via internet video (“webinars”) or in person at a conference, tentatively scheduled for June.
Proposed presentations in English should be submitted in the form of a 300-word abstract in English. Panels can be submitted with a 100-word summary of the panel and a 100-word summary of each presentation. A bio or c.v. of each speaker should also be submitted.
Some proposals will be offered as individual webinars or may be combined with related presentations to form web or in-person panels. If you have a preferred venue, please state it. Some scholarships to cover transportation and lodging will be available for the in-person events. If accepted for presentation, a paper manuscript may be requested for publication in our proceedings or other venues.
The deadline for submissions is January 10, but you can still send us a proposal. Sometimes we have late gaps in our plans, and we can always consider your proposal for later in the year.
The form to fill out to submit a proposal is HERE.
The procedure we follow to vet proposals is described HERE.
